This policy explains how Picsume Inc. ("Picsume," "we," "us") handles information collected through the SectionOS website and, where applicable, the SectionOS platform. It applies to visitors researching SectionOS and to organizations using SectionOS to run their network of sites.
Picsume Inc. is an Ontario, Canada corporation and the operator of SectionOS. If your organization has a services agreement with Picsume to use the SectionOS platform, that agreement, and any Data Processing Addendum attached to it, governs how we handle your network's data. This policy governs everything else: the marketing site, contact and demo requests, and our general data practices.
Platform usage is governed by your organization's services agreement. Content your organization publishes, account information for people your organization authorizes, and operational metadata needed to run the platform are processed under that agreement and any attached Data Processing Addendum, not under this general policy.
We use the information above to:
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
We share information with the sub-processors that support the SectionOS website and platform. As of this writing, that list includes the following, along with a cookie consent tool selected at launch. Each is bound by an agreement appropriate to the data it processes. We'll keep this list current as it changes.
We do not share information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Our infrastructure runs on AWS, with Cloudflare providing edge delivery and protection. We aim to keep data within our AWS infrastructure boundary wherever practical, and we keep the number of third parties with access to it as small as we reasonably can.
Depending on where you're located, you may have rights under PIPEDA, GDPR, or CCPA to access, correct, delete, or export your information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact trust@sectionos.io. We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and will let you know if we need more time to complete them.
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law or an active agreement. When a business relationship ends, we follow the data return and deletion terms in that agreement.
We'll update the effective date above when this policy changes and post the update here. Material changes affecting active customers will be communicated directly.
